IB elementary Years Program transdisciplinary themes<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe starting points for the students’ research are the knowledge and content of the\nministerial programs, but learned through the big questions that human beings ask themselves\n. These questions are addressed in a meaningful and relevant context that leads\nstudents to explore them, taking into account their previous experiences and their\nprior understanding.\nThere are 4 transdisciplinary themes that are worked on in kindergarten, two of which are\nprivileged. The other two are chosen by the teacher. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  • Physical, emotional and spiritual health and well-being;<\/li>\n
  • Relationships and a sense of belonging ;<\/li>\n
  • Learning and development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Research into the diversity of voices, perspectives and expression, through :<\/p>

    • Inspiration, imagination and creativity;<\/li>
    • Personal, social and cultural communication practices and modes ;<\/li>
    • Intentions, perceptions, interpretations and reactions.<\/li><\/ul>

      There are 6 transdisciplinary themes that are worked on from grade 1 to grade 6.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
