School and extracurricular activities

School and extracurricular activities :

École internationale des Apprenants (EIA) offers a rich and varied program of extracurricular activities that complement the school curriculum and contribute to students’ overall development. These activities are designed to enrich children’s educational experience, foster their personal development and reinforce their sense of responsibility and collaboration.

Each year, the school puts in place a program of activities to meet the educational, social and recreational needs of its students. These initiatives contribute to the acquisition of essential approaches to learning, such as communication, cooperation and emotional management. Here are just a few of the activities commonly offered:

  • Guest speakers: As part of the Quebec citizenship program, we organize meetings with authors, poets, actors, politicians, nurses, firefighters, police officers and other professionals. These events enable students to discover different professions and open up to a variety of perspectives, enriching their understanding of the world.
  • Cultural events: The school celebrates cultural milestones, such as the month of Ramadan and the Eid holidays, with special activities and events, enabling students to explore and experience these important moments in Muslim tradition.
  • Educational and Recreational Field Trips: The school regularly organizes educational and recreational field trips to enrich students’ learning by exposing them to practical experiences that complement their curriculum.
  • Sports competitions: Tournaments and sports competitions are organized throughout the year. These events enable students to develop their team spirit and fair play, and to compete on a friendly basis while promoting effort and discipline.
  • Varied clubs: In addition to educational activities, we offer a number of after-school clubs, including: Soccer Club (boys and girls), Multisports Club, Arts and Crafts Club, Computer Club, Chess Club, … These clubs allow students to explore their passions, develop practical skills and build team spirit, all while having fun.
